Distortion

This study was designed to explore the use of an overly dynamic fisheye perspective and exaggerated camera angles in a claustrophobic space. An everyday and monotonous area (the bathroom) is transformed into an unsettling, yet intriguing atmosphere through dramatic light-shadow contrasts and stylized character design. The character's intense gaze, focused directly on the viewer, is the central focal point, balancing the cold feeling created by the geometric order of the space and the distortion (twisting) brought about by the perspective.
